ROMs When downloading ROMs always download ZIP, 7Z, ISO or CHD. With a few rare exceptions such as DOS, ROMs never come in EXEs. If a ROM site is asking you to run an EXE it is a scam, get out. Neo Geo Information

Neo Geo – a system of arcade machines, released by SNK (Shin Nihon Kikaku) in October 1990 in Japan. But also the system has the full name of Neo Geo Multi Video System (abbreviated as Neo Geo MVS). Neo Geo means new world. Shortly after the release of MVS, SNK decided to conquest the market of home video games. Console called Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System (Neo Geo AES) was released and it was completely identical to the arcade machine. The resemblance was in software and hardware configuration, however, had a different slot for cartridges. Obviously, SNK didn’t want that AES would be used as a gaming machine. By the way, the price for home system was $500 which at that time considered a big amount of money. However, up to 4 people at once could play on it!

Neo Geo games offers the user a fairly high-quality 2D graphics and high quality sound. The game system was based on a 16-bit Motorola 68000 processor and an 8-bit Z80, which was used as an audio compressor. To create the sound effect optionally could be used 15-channel sound chip Yamaha YM2610. Neo Geo roms games can be played right on your home computer or smartphone/tablet running Android or iOS. All of the necessary software can be downloaded for free on this section of site.

1. I am trying to net Neo Geo working on my retropie. Which is running 4.4.2. From what I have seen I need to get neogeo.zip and place it in both the neogeo roms folder and the bios folder. The version of this file that I have seen is repeatedly said to be 1,454kb in size but I haven't been able to find one of this size.
2. I play Neo Geo ROMs for a long time some of my played games are: Samurai Shodown IV, The King of Fighters 2002, Metal Slug 4 Plus and many more, but I don't collect them on my PC because I don't have the memory to do it so I just download them from this website and for now, I'm very satisfied.

Quem tem Linux pode baixar o GXMame, nesse link você encontra o emulador para download e como instalar. Caso queira instalar de uma 2a forma, clique no link para baixar o emulador e escolha em ABRIR ao invés de SALVAR. Após ele baixar, vai abrir o programa e você clica no botão INSTALAR PROGRAMA, onde depois de instalado o emulador será encontrado no menu JOGOS. Caso não consiga baixar por esse link, tente baixar pelo RapidShare. Esse emulador serve para NeoGeo, CPS1 e CPS2. É recomendável a instalação em Linux com Gnome, mas quem quiser tentar instalar em outros tipos de Linux, à vontade.

Para Windows, deixarei 2 versões do NeoRage para baixarem, a 0.6 em Inglês e 5.0 em Português.

Não garanto o funcionamento de nenhum rom aqui postado, nem do emulador, mesmo por que pode não ser rom defeituosa e sim incompatibilidade de alguma forma com seu micro. Se isso acontecer, procure em outro site a mesma rom. Não peça para eu reenviar, que não farei isso.
